I just spoke to the guy and he was super nice. He wants to sell them as a package and is pretty firm. The Tecate is leaking water into the trans oil and is missing the rear master cylinder and caliper. He says it runs besides the water/oil problem and has a new stator and flywheel. As seen in the pics the plastic is pretty much shot. The 250r needs a bore and a piston along with a clutch cable.

I really don't have time or space for these bikes and will probably kick my self in the ass but I'm gonna pass.

just my luck my girlfriend made the 12 hour drive to springfield yesterday for a funeral and I opted to stay home and work. I woulda jumped on them

bkm dont think about it just buy it!! You know how sweet of a deal this is. You could get the 250r to run and sell it to recover the purchase cost,maybe come out ahead for money on the Tecate. I hope someone on here gets these.

I am interested in the tecate . if anyone in the area wants the R for 100.00 I will put up the other 350.00. I will be going out there to visit at the end of august or begining of september and would pick it up then

Man you don't even know! But I'm running out of room. The problem with getting these is that my '86 gets pushed back even farther. I'm ready to start that project and not look back. Like I said I will regret this, but for once in my life I'm going to listen to my gut and stay the course on my R.

You guys wanna know the real kick in the balls? I told my wife about them and she said "so how late will you be getting home" lol.
