Just letting you guys know that this shock WILL NOT fit an ATC 250R without modifications. The Ohlins 250R shock is 1.25" shorter than your ATC shock. You will need to install TRX shock linkage, as the lower pivot bolt is of smaller diameter on an ATC. The upper shock bushing is shorter on an ATC, you will need to make spacers. You will need to notch out the backbone of the frame where the airbox boot normally clamps on, so the banjo bolt for the reservoir line will clear.
Not a simple bolt on procedure.

I don't have a 250r shock handy, but what would be the overall length of this ohlins shock please? I know what it might fit on, but it would probably be overkill. But it sure would look cool! LOL

Veal, I'll measure my Ohlins once I get back to the shop and post it up.

Planning on putting it on a Tiger... or a 90? LOL

You're getting warmer, just scheming for now. My new project has a nice fox twin clicker on it already. That ohlins may work for a suspension 70 though.

The Tiger's had the round end shock style, not the fork style like the 250r so it wouldn't work(I was considering it myself).

So where's this 70 at, is this the one you were talking about in the other thread......

You can make anything work. You could always make an adapter piece. Heck, you should see the shock in the Tiger 500!

See? Several people on here have me starting to think outside the box about things like this.
