Hi,I am going to convert my 2002 KTM LC4 640 and have a 85/86 quadsport lt230 rear setup,my question is what rear/carrier do you think i should use.I am going to make my oun swingarm. It is street legal and in Pa you could have 3 wheels and be a motorcycle but not 4

fabbin your own swingarm, you can use whatever carrier you want.....things to consider are which brand/model carrier has the greatest availability of aftermarket parts to mod and factory parts for replacement....also consider axle options for aftermarket and stock axle availability and whatever make/ model has the most part options would be the rear carrier i would use....probably a newer Honda 450R quad carrier would be the best choice for options

this will be a sweet build....post up some preliminary pics of the bike you are using

I am looking at ktm atv(going to try and keep all ktm) but am not sure what bearing setup to use in carrier
1-single roller bearing
2-double roller bearing
3-taper bearing
I will be both on/off road with it and i ride it really hard off road

woods run that rained for 2 days last year and turned into a mud fest,I was 1 of only 2 motorcycle that were there

Stay away from the suzuki swinger.... The rear bearing carrier is a crap design. I trashed a qsport in two years as a kid.

I'm building a cannondale quad with an 06' ktm lc4 at the moment, i built one a few years ago!! mega power!! :)
