Goin to silver lake on sat never been there before anyone else ever been there

silver lake is sweet i pretty much live there during the summer hills are steep sometimes not depending on the wind DNR is out there like crazy so make sure your bike is not to loud make sure u got a flag an ORV sticker and a spark arrestor or they wont let you in, the trail to the dunes is 15mph i dont think anybody ever goes that slow but dnr likes to sit in the hills and run radar so watch yourself other than that is a really cool place to ride hope you have fun

Its my favorite place in the world.
Dont go on a weekend when its going to be crowded, too complicated if you ask me.
I like to go on a slow weekend and enjoy the place without worrying about traffic and voutures and stuff.


like said before, make sure your not too loud, have a spark arrester, have a dune flag, ORV sticker ect...

ORV stickers, flags, and state park stickers can be bought there also.

I was there on in the middle of the week, no one at the 2nd gate checking tags, flags or sparkies... still had a blast out there.. and it was not busy at all.
