Hey everyone. I spotted this the other day in the local Wally Mart parking lot. I thought it was cool and I know no one would believe me without pics, so here they are. It belonged to an out of town dealer who had brought cars into the local auction. When I saw it on the way into work, it had the orange vw bus on it. These pics were after work and they sold a truck that was on the back of the other trailer. I hope you like the pics.132397132398132399132400

there doing this with 88-98 chevy 4x4 trucks too cut up right behind the cab and weld the 18ft car trailer in place of the rear and just use the front locked in 4x4 for front wheel drive, i figure it would kill the front end but ive seen it done on sevral, its kinda a hillbilly rollback. =)

Toronado! My grandfather LOVED those cars. At one time when I was a youngster he had 3 or 4 of them, oldest being late 60's, newest being very early 80's. Say and 81 or 82. Those things were land yachts!

you can buy it for $11,000. it is for sale. i am an Oldsmobile nut and it was posted for sale on one of my Oldsmobile forums in August. for the engine, if it is original it would have a 425 in 66 but ya, it is a TH400 transaxle. i have a friend building a dune buggy out of an olds 455 with a Toronado transaxle. he is at least a year away from having it done.

a 66 425 olds would have 10.25 -1 comp and soft seat heads hope they did something with that! modern gas would kill that engine loaded with a car on back quick, with that much done im sure its been fixed already though

Now someone needs to trick out a front wheel drive k-car or something like that and make it a trike hauler! I seem to remember pics on here somewhere of front wheel drive cars cut in 2 and driving around. I think it had a 3rd wheel under the floor or something. It's been a few years back though.

Same drive-train set-up as those 70's GMC motorhomes. Kept them low and with a flat floor because there was no driveshaft to the rear.

They have choped up a few cars and put boat trailers under them. http://www.hotboatdeals.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=videoplayer&vid=1291&id=2073&autostart=true ahahahahahaha

It worked ok but the guy did have drive train troubles
