Hi all. Well it is time I think to freshen up the old bike.
I need a new complete exhaust for it. the seat is getting redone (hail storm ate it). I am thinking since tire are a little rusty maybe taking them off and getting them blaster and painted would be good. any thoughts on diy? also some of the chrome parts could be redone. is this worth it? can you recommend a good shop?
I also would love to find the accessory adapter cable that plus into the weather proof socket. It disappeared a few years ago.
Also can a reverse gearbox be added to mine? and how hard is it to strip down, clean up freshen the plastic and what to look out for? it has almost always been garaged and never ran hard. the worst thing about it is the battery, recommend a good one!
It has all original racks plus the basket too.
I was thinking with a reverse and a snow plow it could make quick work of my 3 car drive, plus all my neighbors drives.
oh i will post pics once the seat is back and give a walk around for advice
