smoking now.....maybe seals cracked  Oh well ..I have ordered front tires and have most everything fixed now,,,,,,,But need to do something
with the smoke :Bounce Ol Deuce

Do those have valve guide seals?
I had one that the fuel shut off simply didn't and it diluted the oil with gas but it sounds like you ran it enough with new oil.

I just like the thought of 99 cent valve seals.
How's the compression?

I also have a 1987 200SX near mint and a 1986 200SX that is mint, my girlfriends granpa bought them new off the showroom floors. The 1986 was only ridden a few times, I will post some pics in the future. Nice one you have there, they are GREAT machines!

Man Ol duece, that is a nice survivor. I didn't watch the video,,but was stunned by the pic! That and the 88's are rare little buggers. ALL sorts of chain adjustment problems, but the engines are bullet proof Honda. So, did you tear into her? Found a really scratched up intake skirt with whooped rings?

Edit,, watched the vid,,The music started and I was waiting for dancers to jump out ! lol. If only her rear was as pretty as her front ! Nice buggy though for sure. I've only ever seen one in person.

I had an '86 and wish I had never sold it. Sat outside for years, had water in the engine, and it ran! Was a great little bike, and I was so stupid for selling it... I'd love to find one in okay shape, build custom +2 arms for it with EX knuckles and disc brakes, then make a swinger for it with roundhouse carrier.
