Whats up guys,
My name is Rob. I live on Long Island NY and have a passion for 3 wheelers. I'm not sure if it's the wierd, amazed looks my ridin' buddies and I get while tearin' it up on 3 wheels or the fact of being different, but I love trikes.

I started off riding an '86 YTM 225 DX when I was around 10ish then I bought an '86 200x (beat up) then graduated to an '85 200x (cherry). I then realized that being 6'4" and wanting more power I should be riding a 350x. So I sold my last 200x atleast 5 years ago and never found a 350x.

I was bitten by the 3 wheeler bug last week when one of my riding buddies, my cousin, suddenly passed away. He has a MINT '84 250R that I'm going to be using to keep taking his son riding. At the burial in the cemetary our other ridin' buddy has an '85 250R that we rolled out next to the casket. My family knew our love for these things and loved seeing it out there. Oh yea the grounds keepers couldn't believe that people still owned these things and he also thought..."they were illegal." haha!

Good to meet you all...and i'm still looking for a 350x!

-Rob

West Islip. Any good riding spots out by you anymore? I ventured out there many times, my favorite...was Quogue. Do you know of it?

I remember east coast mines.Too many people got hurt there.I havent ridden in about 4 years. I use to ride on the sound in Jamesport.Where they mined it out for a power plant. But never built one. Most spots I use to ride at are now presevered land. And no motorized vehicles aloud. Just run the bikes around a farm near me to keep them running good.

Thanks for the welcoming...

So the pics below are of another one of my cousin's 3 wheelers that I just picked up from getting repaired out here on Long Island. I totally forgot about it until his friend and I got to talking. Much thanks to Fun Wheels out in Patchogue on Rt. 112 for their honesty and taking care of my cousin's toy. Anyway I snapped a couple of pics. She's all there, but in the future I'll freshen her up for my nephew in a few years. All was good until i hit the rear brake out the of truck and the caliper froze and is sill frozen. Gonna have to diagnose that before next weekend's ride to knock the cob webs loose. I'll post pics of his 250R after I pick it up over the weekend.

**photo's won't upload straight from comp, i'll hook up with photo bucket or whatever on monday. Later

Here are some pics.

As you can see he slacked off on cleaning his '84, which btw I just found out is actually an '83...guess i have to change my sig. I'll try and get some up after it's cleaned and daylight.

I used to be a mechanic at a Polaris stealership and many of the customers would ride Tug Hill. Heard many great things but never had the chance to go.
