When Cagiva bought Husqvarna in 87 the intermixed parts until they finally dropped the Cagiva brand (as far as dirt bikes go) so many of the parts wont work on the pre-Husky merger models...

Only the 83-84 models are compatible. In 85, they completly changed the bike. Nothing will interchange.
