Pretty awesome, but looks like its about the size of my hand so might need to be alittle bigger for a 70, if it had a tiny blower to match it might work out on a tri zinger.....?

That engine is too small. But maybe a larger model engine. Maybe the supercharged ones... http://www.conleyprecision.com/609.htm

Maybe, it didn't dawn on me the size of it until I really took a look

Maybe on a PW20, or CRF50. Surely someone has made something bigger though. Anyone up for a V8 racing trike? :naughty:

the machining on them probably costs a fortune but I agree it would be pretty neat to have one. I wonder how many ponies them little suckers crank out

Not the smallest in the world.. some rc car fanatic built a v8 with a working supercharger that's the size of a cigarette pack... he also built a replica boxter engine a v12 and several others... also there was a wankel rotary engine the size of a penny built (I got a real kick out of that being an rx7 fan) that runs off butane, currently it runs 3 hours off 1 oz of butane, the people who made it are trying to make it efficient enough to power a small generator for a few days off just a few ounces of fuel so it can eventually be developed to charge your phone on the go. But the smallest is a steam engine 1/100 the size of the thickness of a hair, that when electricity pulses through it it boils the water in it and drives the pistons up and down. What would amaze me is a replica Honda H22 with turbos and vtec, about 400cc that u could fit into a 350x frame, but it took Americans 20 years to copy Honda's variable valve timing so even someone good with machining fabricating and such would be challenged...

i've seen a few small motors like that. to me the coolest one i have seen is a mini inline 4cyl Ford engine. they are small, but stronger than you might think also. i think a 70 would be a little big, but i think it could move it. just not very easily and very slowly.

I never knew they existed! That was cool as heck! Especially the supercharged model...

Each engine will be fully tested and adjusted for optimum performance. I am expecting around 5.5 hp at 9,500 rpm for the normally aspirated version and about 9 hp for the supercharged version.

Prices start at $5,695.00

No thank you. he can keep it for that cost. especially if it only makes a few Hp. hell i can get a 50cc to run bette rhtan that with jsut a tiny bit of upgrades (4-stroker even) and only cost me abotu $400 in parts and about $350 for the ATV.
