First off i would like to introduce my self. My name is alex. i am form south mississippi. I work in the oilfield and have a unconditional love for trikes. Riding them, restoring them, and learning new things about them. I am new to this site as i am sure you know as to this is my first post. But i just recently bought a 1885 250es Big red (With the original metal tank that is in good shape). But i have a little slack in my gear shifter... it shifts fine but it just has to much slack. What is causeing this and how can i fix it. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Oh and thnk you to the creators of this site looks like it has a lot of very good members and very good info. Thanks again guys and gals. Hope ya ll let me stick around for a while. Here is my new ride. 134700

Some of the work style trikes just have a big range of motion to the shifter.

i got the one in the pick and another one same year and everything as this one complete with the exception of stator and few other parts for $700 for both of them. I dont think it was to bad of a deal. The other that was susposed to be a parts bike is in the process of being fixed. So how did i do on the price. and let me hear all of ya lls opinion on my trike

$700 is a great price. I just paid $1300 for a mint one and I had to haggle like crazy to get it for that
