Here is the first of the 10 requisite posts. Let me introduce mysef. I have a couple of ATC 90s and I am in the process of building one with a Bandito frame and a 108cc big bore kit. I have done the body work and paint on the frame, fenders, tank, and forks. The paint and fiberglass work on the fenders turned out awesome. I will see if i can figure out how to post some pics.135421

I pulled the donor motor apart and I was stoked to find it has a 54mm piston with a big dome and a web #98 cam. The cylinder looks to be in great shape as is the cam. One of the rings was broken so looks like Im going to have to find a new ring set.

Very nice! Looks incredible. Are those new tank/fenders or did you restore the ones you had? Good job! Thanks for sharing:beer

Belive it or not, they are the green ones. The fenders were in good shape for the most part. No major cracks, just badly weathered. I filled some holes someone had drilled for snaps, i guess for vinyl fender covers. Kinda like a bra on the front of a car I guess. The tank is actually a 110 tank that had a hole that i welded up and bondoed. It turned out alot better than I thought it would.

I bought the Bandito frame from Lardog. He helped me set up the rear axle with new bearings, seals and brake shoes. Couldn't have done it without him.

I am doing mine as stock frame. though i have camoed the fenders with mossy oak cloth tape (pretty much high quality camouflage duct tape). Planning on small mods like 110 carb, maybe a high performance cam, just a few little things like that.

Thanks for the complement. It only takes time. The paint i used is rustolem safety red, available at any Lowes or Home Depot.

That safety red rustoleum is a real good match to the honda red, I used it for my 90's forks and headlight shell

This was the stuff I used. The Rustoleum came in quart cans. It was easy to use, just thin 10-15% with acetone and spray using detail gun. I dont think cans would have turned out as good. Cans dont put out the volume a spray gun does. I did however use Rustoleum silver metallic for the clutch cover and the side cover. I think it turned out great.

Here is the clutch and side cover. I am replacing all of the phillips head screws with stainless allen head buttons. What do you think?
