Are these two stems on the tree the same? First schematics are from 1983 200 ATC

These schematics are from 1983 200E ATC

The fork styles are totally different and frankly, the regular 200 model is supreme. I have done all I can do to repair the forks on my 200E, but they are just beat up.

Fork stems are totally different. 200e has extended tubes that forks slide over, 200 has shortened tubes that forks bolt into.

the bearings in the neck are all teh same parts, ( balls, races, nuts, etc.), but the everything else on the front is different between the two. the hubs, triple tree, triple top, forks, head lamps, etc. are different. You can use the same tire/ rims though, they both use the same botl aptterned 25/12/9 wheels. The other option you got is to switch to a 200s set up, similar set up to the 200, but one size small wheel, ( 22/11/8). Its works just fine also. Still gotta swap out everything like the 200 base. Otherwise your 3rd option is, if, and i mean IF you can find a 200m model, you can take the front end off it if you want to keep the 25 inch wheels. I knwo for a fact sense i got a big red also and took an 83 atc 200 front end and put it onto my big red for the superior suspension. The big red suspension on the 200E's are crap. If you got any questions about it, PM me. :) No matterw what route you go, all 3 suspensions are far superior to the big reds.

I think 200m are the same but don't quote me but the shocks are basically the same too, I have a 83 200e and my shocks are in rough shape too
