want to know all the motor mods everyone has done to there 350x !! engines , clutches , cdi boxes , trannys , and any other little stuff you do .. i know all about big bores strokers so we can skip that but maybe head porting , cams and valves !! oh and carb sizes and brands !! almost forgot !! thanks !!

So you know all about big bores and strokes, eh? Want to know head mods. Well, I don't think you know it all. How about a Ascott 500 head modified to fit a 350x cylinder and bottom end with the 350x cylinder bored out to take a stock sleeve and piston from the same Ascott 500 engine. Custom intake. Carb from a TRX450r, complete with modded on/off headlight switch so you can use the 450r hotstart handle and cable as well. Roller bearing cam. Clutch with top secret springs to handle all the power. The engine is not finished, but the person who modded the head made a thread about all the mods needed to fit the Ascott 500 head on the 350x cylinder, with pictures too. Cough up the coin and and ask nicely and he would might build one for you also. His name here on the boards is SWIGIN.

what makes you think the ascott head is better than the 350x !

Way bigger intake and exhaust valves.

bigger valves but if you look at the ports there the same . if you put bigger valves in the 350x and port it right you will get the same flow numbers ..
i have a buddie that flat track races and my 350x head flowed better than his ported ascott head . not by much !! i'd like to race some one with a running ascott
headed 350x and prove it .. know anyone ???

I don't know of any Ascott heads on currently running 350x.

The ports are nowhere near the same size............

If you don't like the answers to your questions then why ask them?

Billet intake port matched to head and carb, running valve lash ever so slightly looser than spec, 2inch exhaust, kibblewhite valves, 450r oil cooler.... New wiring harness so as not to depend upon 20 year old wiring to deliver proper spark.

Acura integra piston running a used 350x piston pivot pin... Which 1-2 people knew about until just now.

There are quite a lot of things me thinks you don't know.

But alas, my motor sits without it's bike... Grr

What has 20yr old technology that is better than now? Bigger, better flow etc.
