it went for $114.50 Should have had my mom p[ick it up for me and bring it down, but I like the 80's style 4spds better anyways. Bet it runs with a little clean up. Someone got a great deal.

Don't know, i do know had i noticed that posted here before i saw it on ebay. I'd have probably tried to get it. i did however just pick up a 79 atc70 with no front plastic, dented/rusted tank, two decent chen shin tires and a thrid that holds arir but is dry rotted. I picked it up for $100 and had it running within the an hour after getting it out of my trunk. now to fix the tank and clean it up a bit.

I would have bid on that with no issues.
I picked a really nice 79 up about a month ago. It was complete minus the spark plug wrench. 2 new tires on the rear. Tank is dent free and hardly any inside. Paid $300 for it and it was worth every penny!

Nice, any pics? My newly aquired 79 will get a lifan 125 semi auto transplant in a few weeks. The motor is due at my doorstep by Dec. 6th. I was thinking of putting it into my 85 70, but not having to tear apart such a nice bike is preferrable to me since the 5 has sentimental value. Had it 20 years or more and it was bought for me by my grandfather who has not been with us since 95.
