1984-85 tecate tanks

Are the 84 and 85 T3 tanks the same? Looking to buy a tank cover. says its for a 85...wanna make sure it will work before i buy

Yes 84/85 tanks are the same (they did have different decals)

Are you the guy that asked about a tank I am restoring, This was a few days ago and cant seem to remember who it was, you would think I would have wrote it down or something but I do stupid things from time to time!

Can you restore tecate tanks? I always see these super nice tecates but the tanks are still faded.

Im doing one right now. Seems to be harder to do than other tanks I have done but its coming along nicely! Ill post some pics of my progress tomorrow!

There are some good products for painting plastic at your local auto body store if its to bad.
