I would like to know how and what I need to adjust the rear suspension on my bigred 250es. And what is the best all around setting?

ive dont them with an adjustablt tool for it not sure what its called also one of my reds came with the oem tool bag under the seat and it has a cheap one of those tools thats work i think its called a hook wrench or sumthing like that, also been done with hammer an chisel but will bugger it up a lil .

Just use a 12" stilson. The shock has 5 stairstepped notches that sit against an oval piece down by the lower mount. Turn the stairstepped piece to change the stiffness, the lowest notch is the softest and the highest one is the firmest.
