1984 big red, what its worht

i am trying to sell my big red but i want to know a value to put on it. it runs good with a rebuilt top end. the electric start gears are gone and the hi gear pops out of gear but it runs fine in low and reverse. headlight stopped working and tail light needs to be hooked up. plastics are ok but front is cracked by what looks like hitting a tree. parts machines around me go for 500 so would 700 be a bad price?

Well, 700 might be a good place to start. But with transmission issues I would jump on the first offer of 500 or better.

Yea those motors are heavy and its not a fun job pulling the motor and spilting the cases

i paid 350.00 for my 83 big red and it runs perfectly with minor damage to plastics.

id say 500 would be about all its worth with the starter shot and high gear poping out
