You have too many nice trikes as it is. I did pull a couple neat trikes out of the miami area before, but I think you have it locked up now. There was a guy at the airport that had a hanger with a bunch of neat cars and stuff and he had some 90/110s with aftermarket frames and such. I snagged a couple trikes from him on 2 occasions. I had my buddy strip them out and send me the choice bits. Since then, nothing.

No. That's the max I was going to bid. Shipping and what not would just add up to more than I wanted to offer. My plans for it did not include keeping it as it was offered and I'd just have another black hole to pitch money into. I' find a frame somewhere and build one up.

I'm happy it going to a good home where it will be appreciated.

All you left coast guys have it all to well. You have Nicholsons popping up all over the place. Us poor East Coasters have to jump on when we can. I seriously thought more people were going to be bidding on the trike. I didn't know that was you who bid on the trike though, sorry.

Cards and bids are always kept close to the chest. I bid once b/c I was cooking at a pancake breakfast for my daughter's high school band this A.M. and gave it my best shot. Yes, I assumed there would be many more beds, especially with the view count. Actually I was stunned that there were dozens of bids and a sniper didn't get it with 1 sec to go.

Glad you got it.

Don't forget to add it to you signature.....another project in abstencia.

Had this been next week (Christmas bonus time!) we would of had a battle Veal!! Nice score! That thing looks clean. I look forward to seeing more of it when you get it home.:beer And you are right, trikes are abundant here, but with you east coasters snooping around here too much, you gotta act fast sometimes!

Congrats again. There were almost 900 views and 42 watchers. Thought it would have went closer to $900 but hey. At least its going to someone that can appreciate it for what it is. When I got it I was going to go through it and make it a Sparks replica race trike but divorces and starting new businesses have a way of eating money up.
Surprised me that the 580 didn't sell. There were 1600 views and 87 watchers. Just relist it and maybe it'll find the right person. Be taking it to the ice races next month and hanging a for sale sign on it.
Thanks again for buying it and whenever your ready we'll get it on its way.

If you keep mentioning how nice it is, BigBore may not ship it to me! LOL I've been drooling all over the pictures for a while now. That's cool about the previous owner though. I've been learning alot about Nicholsons lately, of all sizes. It will be nice to have one running. I can have my 110 running with a little effort. The 500 will take more work to say the least. I wish my job would let me keep a storage container of "goodies" on its' property! The trike was too nice not to put a bid in. I almost hate to take it from its' native habitat, but it will make a really cool addition to the collection for sure. I really hope that arranging for shipping will go smooth and not make any headaches for BigBore, cause it sounds like he really has his hands full as it is. I wish I had the spare cash to give the 580 a home as well, but it's just no way to make that possible right now. I was trying to purchase another members Nicholson 500, but I couldn't swing that financially either. I was really lucky to win this trike for what I did. I can hardly describe how excited I am to get this trike here. I have issues! LOL

Bigbore, I hope all is well with you. The trucking company is ready to pick up the trike on the pallet. The lady has tried to make contact with you for the pickup, but you haven't answered. Also I haven't seen you on here in over a day. I hope you are okay?

I was just contacted today by the shipping agent. The 185s was picked up yesterday, the 19th, and is due the 22nd. The day quoted me for pickup last week didn't work well for Bigbore. Here I've been biting my nails waiting for the call to go pick it up, and it wasn't even shipped till yesterday. LOL

The Nicholson was suppsed to arrive Thursday the 22nd, it didn't. LOL It arrived today, the 23rd, but I get the call 10 minutes before heading out the door till work. I asked if the shipping depot was going to be open Saturday, Nope, so I won't get to pick the Nicholosn up until Tuesday the 27th. Merry trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro Christmas. LOL

I don't get a lunch break like that, can't leave the plant. A nice thought though. And of course the depot won't realease the trike to anyone but me, so couldn't get a buddy to pick it up for me. I guess I should be happy that just anyone can't pick it up. It may be providing lots of fun for the shipping guys right now though!!!! LOL

Did Mario crate it? I've bought a few things off him the past few years :naughty: ....If he crated it ....He likes the nail gun!!! but all got here safe and sound!!

I found it is easier to just rip the panels off quickly rather than prying it off methodically. Sorry you have to wait!!

007, How far are you from York, Pa? We might have to meet up at blue27s house one day. Who knows what I'll bring up. I haven't been up to Bruces in a while. I've got someone who wants to ice race the Tiger 500, so I might try and meet him up there one day anyway, and I'm sure Bruce wants me to clear out some stuff so he has more garage room.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye. Let all who see this know that "The Great Gazoo" stopped by after work and went with me to pick up the Nicholson 185s today. All arrived well. Missing the shifter though, probably dropped off in transit. Cut the wires. Aired up and installed the rear wheels and tires. Forgot the camera! LOL Put in the back of Gazoos' (Brians') Astro Van and brought her home. It's standing up inside the garage now. Seems to be fine, but didn't go over it too thoroughly as it was dark and Brian had to go. Pics soon to foolow. I gotta tell you, it's Way Cool! I wanted to crank it up, but figured I'd go over it and check fluids and brakes and all that good stuff first. But for the curious, it's made it to Baltimore.

Hey sport I hadn't got back to you guys. Been busy! No O.C. no great cuz I didn't have the extra cash to do it, those creates are like $100 to make. Would have been easier tho. Anyway glad the 3 wheeler made it there ok. Shifter fell off?
