Does anyone make new plastic for the tri zinger? Also, wheres a good place to get a carb rebuild kit? Does anyone have any experience with those $30 carbs on ebay? I was thinking about getting one im guessing they use the same jets as the miks.

You need to find some parting one out, and just keep checking ebay til you get lucky. Those carbs are copies so they should work fine.

DC Plastics sells a reproduction front fender. NOS or used rear fenders appear fairly frequently on Ebay. The oem front fenders are like a needle in a haystack to find.. Make sure you check the yf60 4-zinger for parts on Ebay. The rear plastic is the same. Besides plastics and the frame/front suspension everything else is the same. I have heard good things about the Ebay copy carbs, but I have never used one.

Thanks for the link. I think Ill try one of those carbs. For $30 I guess its worth the try. I emailed the seller and he said they use the same jets as the mikunis

Its a beautiful sunspot/faded blue. If i cant find a replacement i might try that plastic refinish techniqe with the wet sandpaper. I just dont know if i would have the patience

Maier has never made Tri-Zinger plastics. DC Plastics makes a reproduction front fender, anything else is used.. or if your pockets are deep enough.. NOS which is hard to find..

The oem fenders do clean up nice with a razor blade and some wet sanding and polishing..

Just searching around I found this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070516064552AAQSbwD I thought about trying it out, sounds like a lot less work than sanding.

Good link that n61870 as linseed oil is clear it should work for most colours also. I do use the wet sanding method which when done correctly does work a treat but patience is a must.

I recently bought 2 front fenders from dcvmx, for 2 of my zingers, they are pretty good you have to bend the mounting tabs to make it fit right and drill your own holes. Better than nothing for sure!

Good luck buying rear fenders, I'm in the proccess of buying all the rear fenders i can to have a stock pile! I bought the only 2 blue rear fenders i've ever seen off ebay within the last 2 years.

I found this rear fender on eBay last year. Wasn't cheap.
