Howdy,

I have been on here before just checking out the site. I have never owned a three wheeler before, until today. I just picked up this 1986 250r from a guy in PA. It's in good shape, has a FMF pipe, +4 axle and some other stuff. I joined the site to get some info on this trike and will most likely start changing some things after the holiday's. If anyone has any tips on things i should check on this atc, like spots where frames crack or anything with the engine to watch out for, let me know. Thanks. Craig

sorry can't help you with tips and pointers for the 250r, but that looks pretty nice.
pretty high strung for a first machine, not doubting any skill just 3wheelers do have their unique characteristics compared to a quad.

welcome to the site and do a little searching. tons of info and mods here. :beer

Be careful until you know what you are doing on it. You can hurt yourself real quick on that bike if you get too cocky.

Thanks for the concern of my safety. But this ATC doesn't hold a candle to the power of my Quadzilla. Still somewhat peppy for a 3 wheeler. At 42 did you guys want to see me on a 200s. LOL!!!! My plans may be a big bore kit, ESR pipe and some other goodies.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but that 250R doesnt corner like a Quad either.

Thanks for the heads up on the cornering. I said i never owned an ATC, didn't say i never rode them. I used to ride a 84 200s back in the mid 80's. I had many dirt bikes and ATV's since the late 70's.
