Hey guys. Been a while. I have a 1986 Trx70 for my boy. It runs perfect most of the time. Periodically... Cold... Warmed up... Either way it will not crank. Never dies. Just won't crank. When it does crank, it does so on the first pull. When it won't crank, it's not getting fire. I have bypassed the kill switch... Still won't start.I cleaned the neutral safety switch with contact cleaner. Still won't crank. Jumpered the wire going to the neutral safety switch to a good ground, still won't start. Cleaned the CDI and Coil connections.... Nothing. Took the main ground to the frame loose, cleaned it tightened it back up... Still won't crank. It has a new plug also. Walked away for 5 minutes, came back, one pull... Fires off and runs for hours... Kill it.... Same crap again. May not do it first time, but does it randomly here and there. Makes no sense. Seems that the CDI and Coil are fine, or it would t run. Especially when it heats up. What can be causing this? So random...
