I got a 98 kx 60 for 200 bucks and when i was looking through google at some picks a threewheeler version from the 80s popped up. I checked out some threads htat had this topic to but i would really li8ke to build one. anyone out there know what parts were used or what needs to be made custom for that to be possible137705

Welcome frist off, please enjoy your search within 3WW. All the best info you could obtain is most likley around here somewhere. Recreating such a build will take research and resources. Goodluck we look forward to your build post and ride report.

thats a cute little bike! nice conversion, like a baby tecate almost! good luck on replicating it, it couldnt be too terribly difficult with the right tools and parts to use. Also, WELCOME!!

The main pieces you would need, rear swingarm, rear fender and the front triple trees which would use the stock forks from your bike. There have only been 2 or 3 of these aftermarket conversons found that I know of, making them quite rare. Best of luck in your quest.

Does anyone have a tecate 250 they can take some measurements I need on the rear carrier?

When you are doing the conversion you should redo any welds where the suspension or swing arm would be. Just to help to be more solid. You might also want to look at youth atvs to find a rear swing arm. Good luck!
