Mike Fort Laud
11-09-2003, 09:36 PM
I see some peoples Screen names and cannot for the life of me figure out what the hell they mean,or how you came up with them. Some are very obvious like the year or make of your bike in your name. Mine is Mike Fort Laud because I am Mike and I live in Fort Lauderdale Florida. So what does your name mean.

Yardbird
11-10-2003, 12:38 PM
Mine is a nickname I picked up while in the Navy. I played softball on the Navy team in Okinawa and my teammates gave it to me. My last name is Bird and every time just before I went up to bat they would call me "Yardbird". Insuating for me to go "yard" or hit a homerun each time. If only I was that good.

:-D as a boyscout den leader, one little tiger cub was looking at pictures from long ago(when i was a tiger cub back in the 60's).
he looked at the picture of me and got wide eyed and exclaimed loudly
"your older than dirt"

Kilborg
11-13-2003, 08:13 PM
I got mine in the early 90's on the internet. I was really into the doom, quake, and subspace scenes and actually played competitively (I was even in the pro-gamers league playing quake wayyyy back when it just started out). I always liked the name, so I guess it just stuck.

Steep rugged heavily wooded mountain trails (actual trails optional) is the riding I like best.

Captainuno
11-15-2003, 03:07 AM
My first name is Kirk, so in high school they gave me the nickname of Captain, (I know, its a 70's thing) In the mid 80's I raced professionally in the desert here in So Cal, 84 I was the #1 plate holder in the 125 class, in Spanish #1 is UNO, I had it sewed on the butt of my leathers so all the slow guys would know who was passing them.

DeathRUSH
11-16-2003, 09:46 AM
Well I play a lot of online games, and played a series called rainbow6, every time you entered a game room it would announce your presence. like "joker is among you". well I figured out that there was just enough space to put " ThePresenceOfDeath" hence getting"ThePresenceOfDeath is among you." I then joined a gaming clan known as S.M.U.R.F.'s (secret military ultra recon force. I had to shorten my name to DeathSMURF, then we got a cease and disist order from a lawyer that represented the cartoon smurf's. Me and a fellow Airborne personnel decided to start an all adult gaming clan , we just called it RUSH. SO now I go by DeathRUSH, or Death_RGN, (rushgamingnetwork), and sometimes DeathSMURF. It sounds a lot neater when your hammerd I guess. hehe.

2strokepwer
11-16-2003, 02:12 PM
I got mine because of an argument a few years ago. Some people prefer the 4 strokes and i like them to but i like 2 strokes. I stood up on my ATC250R and screamed "2strokepower" and thats how i got mine. Unfortunately when i was registering, i had an extremely bad dumb attack and didn't put the "o" in power.

DIGGER DOG
11-22-2003, 12:09 PM
DIGGER DOG uhh just a nick name that stuck from working commercial construction where I was a back hoe operator one of my former construction buddies said I reminded him of the cartoon character digger dog that actually ive really never heard of and I am now back into the grave yard scene 15 years experience of being a grave digger and in the cemetery Im in now all the employees call every body "dog" so there ya go Im a grave DIGGER .................DOG lol
