View Full Version : New to Site and Looking for ATC125 M Shop Manual

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the site and registered because I'm looking at getting a Honda ATC125M. I really like the 1984 and 1985 because the engines are very simular to the Honda CT110 engine which I've very familiar with. I know, the ATC110 is the same as the CT110, but the ATC125M has an electric starter.

Anyway.... I just spent about the last 90 minutes going through the site exploring and reading various threads that mention the 125M. One thing that I've been unable to find is a shop manual for the '84-'85 ATC125M. I found the service manual, but I was looking for a real live shop manual. Anyone know where a free download might be found?

so? you were able to see posts about the 125m?
They sure seems similar to the 110 but also seems that they can have
'shift drum stopper' issues.
Sometimes the pivot bolt comes loose and in my case, first 125m, the
casting standoff for the aforementioned bolt, was actually broken off.
Make sure it shifts correctly.
If the bolt is loose, it's an easy fix and no one here has heard of the
bolt mount actually breaking off.
The dipstick looks like it was hit with a grinder right near the hash marks
and cut about 1/2 way through, if that helps.

Thanks for the post and the warning. That is the sort of info that sites like this are great for, and that you won't find in any manual.

I was a bit too hasty - at first glance it looks like a paid download site.
But I returned to your link and messed around, clicked here and there and after a bit a trial and error was able to get a FREE download of the complete ATC125M manual.
And, it is a very high quality download at that.

I have a 125m that looks like someone might have spun a chain on it. I got it with the pull start missing and both the stator cover and pull start covers off. I'm trying to figure out what's missing. A manual would.be nice
