I've got the top end of the motor rebuilt and all back together and have great compression, I'm excited. I'm wondering how the decompression lever works on this. It doesn't say anything in the manual about it, it just rotates up. Is it suppose to release the air in the top of the motor when rotated up? When I had it apart, it looks as if the only thing it does is maybe relieve the pressure on the exhaust valve, but I'm not sure it can do that the way it's evenly round where it touches the rocker on the inside of the motor. When I checked the compression once I got the motor back together, I tried to the decompression lever to release the pressure in the head but nothing happened, maybe that's not how to check it.
Any thoughts would be great. Hopefully gonna have everything back together and gonna take the beast for my first trike ride today!
Thanks,
Chuck

It's supposed to hold the exhaust valve open just a hair to let some of the compression out. The tip of it may be broken off.

I have one on my 200m and it is to let the compression out before I pull start it otherwise it just about rips my arm off

Exactly, when i realized this was on there i felt silly having pull started it without doing that first.
