i ride my bike for the pure adrellin rush, and that puts me in my own world, a good world, a world that is better than where any "high" could take me, the weightless ness while i go through the air makes that split second feel like an internity. i woulnt trade those moments for anything its like an never ending orgasim on my bike (ya gota be riding something). on the atc its for the relaxation just kicking back not having to worry about anything other than how far you push that gas pedal/lever. the whole reason i take viechles off road wether it be a bike, atc, or jeep is to live on the edeg the thought that anything can happen at any time and i could be seriously injured, that is the biggest thrill to me, when i do wreck i rember every little detail going over what i did rong over and over again, it keeps my mind off of things that get me in trouble like girls drugs and porn. if it wasnt for off roading who knows what gang in would be in robbing and killing inniocent people. thats why i do it

I can remember back to 9th grade when thats all we used to talk about in english....even the teacher would chime in w/ us for a few minutes. That class was crazy...you name it, we've talked about it. 8)

Thats simple. I ride because it takes all the troubles away from my life, and it's something to do. When I have a crappy day, I just jump on a 3 wheeler, and have fun, and it really relieves you from your depression and problems. I think of all the places I have gone, and all the sites I have viewed on the seat of my trike, and you could never take the enjoyment away. The view and experience of it is nothing like anything else, and I think its the best thing in the world. wink

I agree, when I am pissed off, or in a bad mood, I hop on a trike and ride.

I was 6 years old and couldn't wait to ride my neighbor's minibike. My Dad got me a dirtbike soon after and I've been riding dirtbikes/atc's ever since then. I've just never grown up because now I'm 36 and have 2 350X's and my son has a quad. For me when I ride it's like I'm a kid again. Except now I wake up sore the next day DOH!

I ride them now because I could never really afford them when I was a kid. Seemed like as soon as one started to die I'd grab another beater just to have something to ride.

So I can go to a secluded place to burn one. (J/K) I personally am not a thrill seeker but do enjoy watching others seek there thrills and the occasional mishap, but I do not wish for anyone to get injured. I personally ride for the same reasons I fish and hunt to get away from the feverish crazy life and relax and just think about nothing and discover, explore and wonder what life must be like being out there and living the life through heat, freezing cold, thunderstorms, snowstorms and such. I can go home and cool off, get warm, dry out and be protected from the elements. It's an awesome place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Peace Rod

Spelling, too. You'd think someone that uses the word so much would know "orgasm" doesn't have the letter "i" in it.

Sorry, repeated spelling errors just really bother me fore some reason.

Poor ol' NOS everybody picks on him, lol....

I ride for many reasons. I ride to enjoy the desert, to have fun, to push myself to the limit, to relieve stress, to relieve anger....all of these are reasons I ride.

to get away, like everyone else, mudding is a great stress reliever, then i relieve tension afterwards by washing and tuning up
