found a 200x with a kx 250 in it

i found a 200x with a kx250 in it blown up missing rear fender, ad says wants 350. sounds like a good project what ya think?

sounds a little high to me i recently bought a 200x that ran with new rear fenders and all new tires for $250. it just needs a few things and some tlc, what year is the one you are talking about

could be a little bit of a headache.

Is the motor blown up like it needs a top end or blown up like needs a new motor? If it needs a whole motor probably not that great of a deal.

If its a top end I would price it out first. Rear fenders are on here and on ebay.


Whats the frame condition, trans, etc..

Not for that money.

No fenders + bad engine + hacked frame for swap = $50-$100 parts trike depending on what is good about it.

dont know what yr, i gotta call whoever is selling it. the ad has 4 atc's for sale in it. im in jersey and only 2 times i have seen trikes for great prices. a tecate roller for $100, called em the same day and was holding it for someone to look at next day, and a 200s smoker for 150, but was short on cash that day. seems trikes are listed for alot more here than other places i check on cl. why do i want it, good question. i had to think about that, cause i want a 200x and all of em around here are 1000 or more. i know it prob would wind up pushed in back of garage, but if the frame wasnt too hacked and i could find a 200x motor, but they prob changed out electrics rite?

ok i talked to the guy. he didnt do the work on the bike. he got it while selling something when someone fell short of cash? no pics, ill have to drive 1.5 hr to see it. if i do ill post
some pics. he says it ran when he got it and didnt ride it. its listed as not runnin cause he dont know if it will start. ill take a look at it, he sounds like he will negotiate. also says it has a streched swingarm, the guy was a welder who did it. ill post what i see and if i buy.

i'd stay away from all of his bikes.... 50 bucks is too much... 1000 dollar 200X's, who's those 2 jokers from north jersey thats been trying all summer to get rid of them, and one of them is realy beat..... 4-800 for them around here all day long... what part of the shore you from??
