No, it's not authentic, in a sense. It was a designed by the guys father who had a tiger dealership or sponsored a Tiger racer. It was the fathers design, not the factorys' design.

The funny thing is post #27 shows a receipt for the visors from Tiger... Post #31 even shows a pic with the same Tiger logo..

The Tiger cartoon was designed by his father...

If it was authentic TIGER ATV there would be a few more bids.....at least one from me. That was from a family in MI. There was a crew of 2-3 tigers that raced up that way.

When you look at post 27 it is not a receipt, just a price list, I think.......

Then how DO YOU know it's not authentic?? Do you have highly confidential information to the contrary? No where in the auction do I see it was printed up from a family from MI back in "85". There were 2 other auctions for similar visors and no one ever questioned it's authenticity. ANnnnD no one here even made mention of it. WHY?? Guess you never saw the previous post here. lol

Now I'm really stumped and confused. Why would a Tiger dealer need to print up a couple of visors when the dealer "cost" price is only $3.30 cents? I would think being a "Tiger Dealer", Tiger would throw you some comps like hats , T shirts, decals, and VISORs for spending $6500.00 thousand dollars to become a "Tiger" dealer. You know, THE nickle and dime stuff for promoting their product. Just doesn't make sense to me. But maybe I'm wrong.

I thought we were talking about the tony tiger looking products. I spent a day in MI with part of that TIGER crew and the guys family who had the Slusarski excavating TIGER gear made up. I do believe the Tiger I posted on that thread and the visor may be authentic. I havent spoken to Brian in about three years. I will send him a picture of the visor via email and ask him.

Thats real nice you had some time to spend with the Tiger crew. Wish I could find some time like that! I'm always looking for Tiger parts and leads like you. I emailed the seller twice with some Q's a couple of days ago but with no response. I thought some one here would know if it is real or not. Hope you have better luck with a answer. BTW when you went visiting did he show you the visors and any other Tiger stuff?

Look, Long story short. Is it real or is it a fake?? Auction makes it sound like its a real deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the guy from the family post on here saying his dad came up with the designs? Do a search. I believe it was in the classifieds section.

Post #25 he says his dad designed the cartoon Tiger logo

Post #27 he says he bought the visors from Tiger, thinking they were helmet visors.. he also says the shirts and jackets aren't factory "Tiger"

Post #31 shows a picture of a guy wearing a Tiger shirt with the same logo as on the visors.

I say, yes the visors are "real" real meaning from the actual Tiger company.

All the Tiger gear I've seen from casual wear to race gear has a distinguishg "mark" on them. Seller still hasn't responded back to my email. bet if you buy it you will get a response. I hate to say it, but, until the seller gets back to me, I have serious doubts this is the real deal.

Just looked at the auction again. The seller added some pics. No marking or label on the visor. I say it's fake. You're busted.

Did you win it? Even if its not from the factory, the price was worth the gamble. I was made fun of for wearing visors when I was younger so I had no interest even if it was real :)....I'm visor scarred .
Here are more pics from the crew that this was a part of...2 tigers in each pic. The blue jackets are the "tony tiger" version
