I am currently in the process of seaching for a axle carrier for my 85 350x.
I have removed the axle and carrier but have beat up the stock carrier. Dumb moveon my part i forgot to take out the bolt on the bottom of the swing arm and kept pounding away.
Rad manufacturing makes a carrier but it is over 200! I found a carrier on ebay for an 86 and it says you have to counter sink the sprocket and use flush bolts. That carrier is only 100. Has anyone used a86 carrier on an 85.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

buy the double row carrier from eastcoast atv. it comes loaded with bearings and ready to install for 100. yes you will have to switch to an 86 carrier and countersunk bolts.

I was under the impression that a 86 sprocket would not fit the 85 sproket holder

Ok this is a old thread but I just broke my carrier on 85 and there is alot more 86 and up carriers out there . Is all I have to do is counter sink the bolts in the sprocket and get new bolts to use a 86 and up carrier???
