i been tryin to find a 200x carrier for the rear axle of my '86 200x. from MAPowersports here in KS, its almost $500!! on bikebandit, its $388. so i searched around and found some comments about a RAD brand carrier for 200, thats supposedly better than OEM carrier. can someone tell me where i can find one of these carriers? or what RAD is?

Im not positive that there is one for the 200x but would imagine there is. I have one for a 85 250R and not positive if I am going to use it or trade it for the 86 carrier I need for the 86 build. I would imagine there is major differences between these 2 machines also and not interchangable for the R to the X but if you find one, go for it!

well, ive already found the RAD 200x carrier. its 299.95 with bearings (and hardware i think). i wont be sure what all needs replaced in the carrier til i get it apart. i just got a manual today for it, so ill probly start on it this weekend. im hopin its just the bearings thatre shot. i can get a RAD bearing and seal kit for 39.95 on their website (radmfg.com). ill have to let you know how it goes! its really gonna kill me on money if i need to replace the whole carrier :-/
