Contrary to what you might think my screen name has nothing to do with the stupid band.

It came to me on the 1st annual "Go Topless Day" for Jeeps back in 2008. On the dune portion of the day, I was riding with my buddy in his '99 wrangler. Well the wind was blowing pretty good that day while we were parked at the top of a dune. The wind blew his hat off and it landed on the sand, next to my side. I thought, no problem, I'll just unbuckle, lean out and pick it up. Each time I reached for it, the wind blew the hat a little farther away, until I tried reaching too far and just fell out of the Jeep. It was hilarious, and hence 'falloutboy' was born.

My forum name comes from a little band that me and a couple buddies had back in high school. We really weren't that good, but it was all about getting together and having fun and drinking beer and stuff. It all kind of started when one of my buddies I would jam with, dreamed about getting a band for his birthday. Lo and behold, we got the guys together that we jammed with and got slightly more serious. We didn't sound bad music wise, but we never really had a great singer and we all kind of took turns at hacking at singing. LOL I don't think we ever got paid a dime for any playing we did and we played at alot of different classmates birthday parties and stuff like that. One of the guys in the band, his family played bluegrass music, is now a big time mandolin player and has recorded many records and even has videos on you tube. He could just about play anything with strings on it. Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass a truly gifted guy. I even tinkered with bluegrass for awhile. Being his family was so talented, they knew a ton of people in the 70s and early 80s into bluegrass music. My buddy Emory was even on a bluegrass album playing Mandolin and fiddle and even got one of his songs recorded as well, before graduating high school, with a national recording bluegrass band, the seldom scene.

Later on the forums everyone just called me "mosh" again, so I just shortened the name back..

Tammy Is obviously "mrs. mosh"..Still to this day people refer to her as "MR" or "Hey Man" or "dude" or Thanks sir" in PM'S and posts..
I guess alot of folks just see her screen name and dont make the seperation from Mosh. to "Mrs. Mosh"

Mr_RPM
01-06-2012, 10:30 PM
When I was younger me and my firends would ride all day everyday around school. ride ride ride, we were always competing and racing and trying to show eachother up.
well i have usually had the slower machine of the bunch so i would ride the piss out of my machines to keep up. smacking the revvlimiter every gear squeezing every bit of juice out of my machines (84 atc 110, 86 200sx, 99 yamaha warrior, 99 400ex in that order)
as i moved up and got faster machines to finally be competitive my riding style never changed. I now put high end Camshafts in all my machines to better suit my style.
i really should buy a 2 stroke one day...maybe the 250r will be done one day.

anyway back when we were young my friends would tease me (as i was on my trx200 trying to keep up with raptors and stuff) and call me Mr. RPM

just ben

At the end of the day on a good ride I usually end up looking like the creature in my Avatar picture. It always seems like I end up covered in mud even when I start the ride telling my buddys I'm gonna stay out of the mud today. Any of the races I've ran I've always done better in the mud then the dry(I hate dust!) I can thank my old man for teaching me how to ride threw some gnarly situations. When I was little he would put me on my atv and I'd have to follow him and his buddies threw some of the nastiest crap in the river bottoms. Big ugly rutted up creek banks, Bring em' on thats my kind of fun right there!:D Wish they still ran the Blackwater race I have the dvd of it and damn it looks like a good time!

My little 110's and 125 have took me places I couldn't imagine walking through. Love my machines. Not speedy, really predictable. I'm like Mr. RPM, always playing catch-up. I figure I get to see more of the scenery, and I do pass some of those bigger 4-wheeled machines as they are broke down on the trails.;) I'm something of a tester for mud pits for some of the people with 2-wheel drive 4-wheelers cause they know I'm not afraid to get stuck.

01-13-2012, 09:24 AM
Scuba? cuz I likes to muff dive........

Not really, the guys at work started calling me this when i first started there 7 year ago. It comes from the movie Big Daddy, when the kids favorite action figure (Scuba Steve) comes to his house and tells him that big boys don't pee their pants. My name is Steve, and the more I bucked up to it the worse it got for me. Oh well it was JC before that, and I was glad to change it up.

wonderboy
01-13-2012, 09:16 PM
Mine is a carryover from my other hobby: RC airplanes. I joined an RC forum a long time ago and needed to figure out a screen name. At the time, my favorite plane was a small flying wing type plane made by Sig manufacturing called the "Wonder". I came up with wonderboy to refer to the plane, and kinda had a super-hero sidekick feel to it. I hate remembering 100's of different usernames and passwords everywhere you go, so I try to use this one for most forums that I'm on.

Interestingly enough, since I started using this name, I've seen this in other places: In the movie the Natural, his baseball bat was named Wonderboy, and there was also an old NES game titled Wonderboy. My screen name has nothing to do with them...

TatTooL23
01-13-2012, 10:40 PM
I am a tattoo artist and have always loved the band TOOL. so because tattoo just needs one more letter to have "tool" in it, there ya go. then 23 is just a number i always play when playing quickdraw, lol. i love to gamble.

it is TatTooL23 a lot of people think its Tattoo 123 but its not. i have to have them change the "L" to a capital so it doesn't look like a "1"

The '86 350x was my first and only trike when I joined the forums... I did things backwards, I suppose, now I have a bunch of smaller ones. Anyway, when I joined this forum, I needed a name fast, so I figured if I ride one, I must be a 350x-er. I don't have that one anymore, so technically I'm no longer a 350x-er. Last year, the Tionesta gang started calling me "The Enthusiast". I should start a new account.

I had trikes since I was 11 but then I became addicted to vintage snowmobiles and have owned/parted well over 500 snowmobiles just in the last decade.

Currently have 65 to 70 - kinda lost count and have been into trikes much more since you can use them year round so really have not picked up any sleds in the past year

I was playing a board game with friends back in 1994...pictionary or something? Anyway, you had to provide 3 written answers to a question and one of them was "Street Names." So people were reading their answers like, "Main Street, Lincoln Street, North Street" and when we got to mine I had "Gino, Blade and Micahdogg (my name is Micah)." Guess I didn't really understand the question - but the name stuck.

Mine is very self expalnitory. I an New 2 the Tri Z. Been riding 3-wheelers my whole life but never ran a Yamaha. Been trying to relive my youth lately so i wanted to buy a nice 3 wheeler to restore and ride. The Tri Z was a family friends, that they bought originally and rode the piss out of, but I figured some poor sap needed to bring this beauty back to life. We will see how the Tri Z does for me, or if i will be going back to a Honda. Who says you cant love them both?

I used to be mitsumerlin...derived from driving an eclipse and my army nickname merlin. Switched it to MyMistress86R after I got my 86 ATC250R because my wife said I spent more time with it than I did with her. Got rid of the wife which caused me to have to get rid of the trike but now I have an 86 TRX250R, so it all still works.

You picked a good name. Something else, like say, "Little Dick" might have gotten you teased by a lesser class of folk that the good people found on here.;)

LOL...yeah, I stayed away from that name.

Funny story about the Tricky Dick's name. The first time we went the Winter Nationals in OK City in the early 80's, we walked through the pits wearing our Tricky Dick's jackets and some people were cheering and yelling "hey, its Tricky Dick's"! We thought, wow! our name is really getting out there. Later we find out there's a strip club in OKC named Tricky Dick's. LOL. Now it was never made clear what type of club this was. So I don't know if they thought we were owners or dancers.

Social Torture

I am not a people person, so it suits me very well. I like my solitude. I refuse to carry a cell phone. The reason I leave the house is so that I can be alone. Besides, that equipment slot is much better suited for another spare handgun magazine.

I'll sum it this way.

“What?! You want me to go to some party and... and... socialize, Can't I just die for the brethren, instead? I'll even hand you my gun.”

Yamada

YAMAha + HonDA = Yamada. It invented this word after I put together a rolling 3-wheeler frame by using TRX 125 rear axle component and a Honda CB360 fork to a YTM-200 frame.... And I also owned a couple a Yamaha and Honda 3-wheeler.
