Is it possible to put a speedometer on an 85' 200x and an 84' 200s? would i be able to put any type of speedometer or do i have to get something special? :D :D

i know there are speedometers for bicycles that may work. on the bike, you put a sensor on a front spoke and one on the forks. a wire runs from the sensor on the forks to the speedo display on the bars. you might be able to rig somethin up like this. as for an automotive speedo, im not sure if it can be done

Yeah you can put a speedo on pretty much anything you would just have to modify it f course. I know somebody has done it before youll just have to search

ya I'm in Canada so kph is fine for me although i do like using minles too on stuff like atc's

Yeh it's got the lot,rpm,mph/kph,temp and a few other things like over heating and over revving

ya I was just checking out the vapor they seem pretty cool I would go with one of them........maybe I should get one too lol the only thing is they said they custom fit and atc's weren't on the list anyone know which one i should get for my 84 200x......I guess maybe a generic one for conventional forks eh?

For the 200x you need the conventional fork set up,basically it's a normal mx style set up with speed sensor located behind front caliper,they also do mounting brackets to fit computer to top yoke.Mine came off a friends CRF 450!

For the 200x you need the conventional fork set up,basically it's a normal mx style set up with speed sensor located behind front caliper,they also do mounting brackets to fit computer to top yoke.Mine came off a friends CRF 450!

ya i read the instructions and i saw the mounting bracket as well it seemed pretty simple
