200x Headlight Wiring

so i finally found an aftermarket headlight i can use on my trike. well, the wires on the 1986 200x are just hangin there. i need to know which wires are which, and how can i wire this light up? the wires on the trike are black (im guessin ground?), white, and green. there are only 2 wires on the light, both white. i guess it doesnt matter which is hooked to power and which is hooked to ground? (wires in my fingers are from the light)

also, how can i splice these wires together? im not good in wirin :(

Pretty sure green is ground on the 200x. Black and white might both be hot since it has a hi & lo setting for the light switch, but I'm not sure about that.

ill put a volt-meter on it and let you know what i find out. i know on my '86 rebel, the green was either the ground or the runnin lights. cause it went to all the lights on the bike

well, i pulled the tape further off the wiring and found a blue wire. this wire, according to the manual, is for the "HI" setting. the white is for "LO". Can i wire both lights to the white or blue?
