Very nice.. Which engine of the 2 was easier to mount and get working? What sizes are they?

Pitster Pro 140cc big bored to 146cc
Lifan 120cc E start

Pitster is a full race motor, does not like going slow, high compression, high winding, Had to build custom intake to get carb to fit, had to build custom pipe, since it has a manual clutch I did a foot brake system also. Also had to design and build a pull start system.

Lifan motor is the best for putting no doubt. E start is awesome, auto clutch is awesome, Wiring was not awesome. more cost with buying a battery and mounting can be a pain in the arse..

End of the day I guess when am out on my 9 acers the lifan works awesome but when friends come over and we start racing around the property I am on the pitster. There is no camparison to the power like a blaster to a built banshee...

I need to upload some more pics of the lifan build but here is some of the Pitster. If you have any questions feel free to ask I do not mind sharing. Since I have done these two I am now building at least 3 more for friends... it is addicting to say the least..

this kinda goes along with my Fascination w/ 70s thread. it shows what guys do to em and how cool they are when you do this kinda stuff. this is what makes me want one now..

Sweet minis. I bet the pitster rips being a 146cc. I 100% agree with these micro trikes being addicting.

I added 5 degree of rake to the Pitster bike, not only to clear motor to head issues but to work on correcting steering issues with a fat guy on it. seems to work OK but I think I am going to stretch the backbone a couple inches also, I have managed to flip the pitster bike over backwards every time I have been on it, the front tire hardly ever touches the ground. Yesterday I decided to re-gear and dropped a tooth in the front to a 14 this made it much easier to ride also. (already done the lifan 14 tooth) I now am working on some jetting issues with it, it has an issue with backfire/kickback when starting and seems to be running very rich at idle. Funny thing Jet kit Pitster sends with motor comes with 3 pilots and 3 mains none with any numbers or marks on them.... I put the largest ones in I could see and have left it there now is time to fine tune.

So here are a couple more of the 120 build. I built a battery box on the skid plate and then back cut the side plate at the rear to use the back bolts as a hinge so you can pull the front bolts out and drop battery down for service if needed. I used a sealed Gell Cell battery for a scooter that has no maintence also. Under the seat I used a sealed electrical box off of a 200sx donor bike I have to install all the wiring and electronics, I also wired in a Volt reg. that uses stator output to charge 14.4 volts to battery. I also wired in a fuse block that is regulated from the lighting coil to run lights if I choose to.

I have a friend on this board (Kasey) that has been trying for years to get me and a bunch of my friends to build these and I always thought he was nuts.... Then I rode one with a 110cc pitster motor in it in september last year.... The rest is "fabrication and dollar signs" from there but small dollar signs. In the scheme of things I have a well over 100hp 475cc banshee, a 505cc Honda TRX450R, a 440 EX and have had more fun on these in the last few months that all of those combined...

Kasey I just bought another roller off craigslist for $100. It is going to get a mid 100's motor thrown at it with alcohol. I have the "booze" and powerjets from another project, going to go spend some time over at the mad scientists place (lewie Twister Crankshafts) and see what we can come up with. We allready found out my pitster bike will fit in the dyno...LOL

I can only imagine what you are going to bring out...
