Bid is at 5 grand, no reserve. It is definitely really nice, you couldnt build that for 5 grand.

I see no BIN option?

Its worth 5 grand but not 10. Very nice trike. Another example of people putting 10 grand into and wanting 10 grand out of it.

Thanks

If the thing has never been ridden then why does the "new front disc 19.95" appear to have wear and heat marks on it. just sayin.

His price list is all over the map :wondering I don't think that 250r has enough travel to stretch the rear brake line, and if he spent all the time and money that should have been done correctly......especially on the nicest three wheeler in existence...:D

Meh... You could find a really nice one down here for $1800ish and spend less than $2000 on all of those parts (depending on where you source them from). You'd be in it $3800, so I'd say $5000 at the most. Definitely a dunes bike..

Just think, if he disassembles it now and then rebuilds it next year, it'll be a 2013 ATC250R!

I've seen a whole lot better for a whole lot less.. It would cost me money to own it.. To replace that seat cover.. lol

I love 3 wheelers just as much as the next guy on this site but this seems like a waste of money. I would have rather seen a NOS engine go into a restoration along with the other NOS parts. This seems like a guy that built a bike that he liked and thought was cool only to find out that others dont feel the same. I don't see him getting his money back on his investment. Anybody ever grab a chrome grip after its been setting in the summer sun for about a hour? I bet its totally worth the $99.95 for the experience:D

I dont get why the shock ressy was just hose clamped to the frame like that? Some last minute after thought of not noticing the mounting tabs on the frame were broken before powdercoat was done?

Kinda looks like someone through a propeller on top of a hot air balloon..

Also thought mounting air cleaner directly to carb was a no no hurts performance

I like the street bike front master cylinder!!!!!! I bet that is very touchy. But he never even started it, so he wouldn't know. I have a cr250 one and it is touchy to say the least, can't imagine a street bike!!!

Clean bike, seat is gay, obviously not overpriced if there are "real" bids. "Geared" for an Ebay buyer, not us 'round here.

No worries, I was talking about new.. Most of the 350x owners around me beat on them on a pretty regular basis.. I'd hate to buy one used.. Like the 240sx.. they've all been drifted at this point.. lol

No grab bar either???

Also thought mounting air cleaner directly to carb was a no no hurts performance

If anything it improves performance because it allows the engine to breathe better. The stock airboxes restrict airflow when you put aftermarket parts onto the engine, so going to either a clamp on air filter or removing the airbox lid help out.

Theres a Technical reason why you don't mount the air cleaner directly on the carb that's why they sell air box eliminator kits that have a desired tuned length tube that runs from the bell of the carb to the air cleaner on the end of the tube. Even the stock rubber tube serves that same purpose.

Theres no way you could build that for 5k. I am past 6k on my build and doesnt have some of the stuff he has, including a motor that was never run before, that is worth some bucks too witj a lot of parts becoming obsolete and discontinued now.
