get a service manual for the trikes and start reading
get one started and begin putting the pieces together like a puzzle
good luck and you are in the right place for help just ask more specific questions.

welcome biggwill,
Firdt off change spark plug on the mostly complete motor , oil, and clean the carb. Then you will want to clean the fuel tanks out and pick the best of them all. Next check for spark, if no spark then we can make you a list of solutions if there is then put the plug back in and see if it starts. Here is a link for a downloadable manual http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manuals/
I recommend fixing one up and parting the other one out, but it's your choice on how much you want to spend for parts. I don't believe a complete rear end will be very cheap.

if you want a new key made for it take the key switch down to a honda dealer and they should be able to make one for you, otherwise just disconnect it .

what do you mean exactly "you turned it with a screwdriver"? those should be keyed ignitions, hopefully it's not broke on the inside. unplug it from the backside of the ignition and see if you get spark then.
