Picked this up a few weeks back for 250 bucks. 84 200es Needed a battery and a good filling of fuel.
Runs great, new rear end seals and bearings by the previous owner, new back tires care of him, missing the front rack.

just a random question.... is the 200es shaft drive or chain? which Honda ATCs are shaft driven?

just a random question.... is the 200es shaft drive or chain? which Honda ATCs are shaft driven?
The 200ES is shaft drive. The 200E Big Reds are chain drive.

84 and up are the shaft drive BigReds. 83 and older are chain.

ES stands for Electric and Shaft, so yes it is shaft driven. The 250es and 250SX are shaft drive as well.

hmm... raised headlight makes me think it had a basket on that missing front rack. :wondering
started a thread once about what the differant lettering stands for, but it never really got anywhere. :lol:
