1982 Honda 250r!!! HELP!!!!!

Hi from SO-CAL. Just picked up a first gen 250r and man this bad boy is fun. Its been run into the ground though.... need plastics and its spooging oil out of the tail pipe..... how bad is this? Don't have a lot of experience with two strokes so if anyone could give me some advice as to where I should start with bringing this bad boy back from the edge it would sure help!!

your best bet on plastics is from http://www.maier-mfg.com/
Also remember you have a two stroke there so an obvious deduction would be that the oil mix in the fuel might be a little too much. If it has been run to the ground there is a good chance you will be doing a rebuild in the near future, also make sure you keep up on the maintenance with it or you will be spending more than it's worth. means you need crank seals if oil comes out of the tail pipe... fairly easy fix if you know how to rebuild a 2 stroke... its not good but fixable
