Hey, i picked up a 83 200e the other day, was told the gasket for the dual-range case was bad (which it was) and i replaced it. Now i come back to it and its still leaking oil. ????? :wondering im decent with motors, and i dried the rim were it goes before i put it on and i scraped the old (what was left it) gasket off and everything. could it be i seated it wrong? first time ive done anything with the bottom end casings that have oil in them. Any help/advice would be much appreciated!

Look to see if the chain has cracked or busted a hole in your engine case. 50% of the trikes I see for sale have the case busted or patched up with jb weld.

Well the chain goes behind the sub transmission, i checked anyways and its clean and fine.

The red is where its leaking from. could it be some oil got underneath the gasket before i tightened it, making a bad seal?
