the six speed isnt any different from the five, just has one more gear. i havent had any trouble with mine, even though the guy i got mine from didnt take care of it. but its a Honda, so you cant go wrong. if you can get the '86 on a good deal, id say go for it! the '86 is the best in my opinion

i personally think the 200x, in all years, is the best all-around trike. its sporty, reliable, good on trails, enuf power and torque to pull a small trailer (if needed), etc. it doesnt matter what year you get, cause you wont be disapointed

how much is he askin for it? cause it looks to be in really good shape. i would check the oil and spark plug when you look at it in person, looks at the plastics and bars to see if its been rolled. it all depends on how good he took care of it.

Just trying to help here... Usually just rebuilt,,means needs rebuilt. The rear fenders 1/4 gone. The boots are trash, the forks will need redone. Seats been redone. Could be a great bike! But LOOK IT OVER good ! Axle bearings, swingarm bearings, brakes all that. In this area,,he's asking ALL the money for that,,unless it is a very fresh engine with a good chassis. The money to fix this particular model up gets REAL steep, real fast! Great machines once they are tight!

They are great little bikes easy to work on and maintain, I have two of them and there awesome. That one looks to be in decent shape if every thing works the price isn't too far out line. The forks will cost you about $50 plus new boots if you do them yourself.
See if you can get it for $500-$600 and you will have a great trike.
Good Luck

Dirtcloud and atc007 are both very right. you REALLY need to focus on the little stuff. little stuff leads to bigger stuff. the axle bearings on mine are bad and its takin a toll on the rest of the trike. check the bearings, see what brand the sprockets and chain are. is this guy mechanically inclined? if not, i wouldnt trust his rebuild
