Pretty cool to see a 87 t3 not many of them around. You tecate experts what do you think. I might check it out later this week and take detailed pics and post them. The owner speaks no english had to translate with his son over phone. Would be nice to own a 86r and 87 t3....

Incorrect coolant bottle, no chain gaurd, grab bar, right shroud, headlight shroud and most likely that rear shock will not work. I cant tell if it has the proper headlight bracket that incorporates the key mount, which is basically the only noticable difference between 86-7. I think at $2500 you could do better, maybe even get one shipped to ya. You can build a "rider" 86-7 for pretty cheap if you shop around. Good luck- :beer

It's also missing the parking brake on the clutch handle. Can't tell but probably doesn't have the correct rear caliper for the parking brake either. I would check the VIN but it looks like an 86.

For the price of the things missing on it you would be in over $1000 easy, unless you came across some sweet deals! Right shroud will cost a bit and hard to find in good shape. I think the way it sits Id offer $1500 and see what he says, if it runs!!

Right on thats what I am thinking $1500. It looks clean from the pics. 8 years they probably dumped alot into it and lost interest. If Its a real 87 t3 that doesnt need much to complete i might jump on it....

Looks like it has 86 wheels on it too, 87 had painted ally rims, 86 had anodised ally.

I saw in person a piece of &$%^ . Would not give $500 for it. Had no vin and missing more pieces than I can count....
