the elec start is there but will not fit around the frame , i cant believe how fast the reply's are on this site , i read somewhere that i can use cr 85 brake parts to complete a rear setup , is this true ? , can i use the caliper and mastercylinder with a longer hose ?

yes you can use cr85 brakes you may have to mod the mount for the master ,and you need the stock 200x caliper mounts/bracket . to fit the electric start you need to dimple the downtube a little ,on mine we reinforced the tube on the front and cut /welded the dimple in works good ..

thanks appricate it , if anyone has the dimensions for a pivot bolt and those delrin bushings i would greatly appricate it , in second year machining and i can get away with making a couple things for myself when the instructor is in a good mood .

its definately a 1983-1985 200x. the tank flares, round tubed frame, and nonelyptical carrier shows that its not an 86 or 87

The 83-85 200xs are almost identicle .There are a few differences.Like the 83 swingarm is different but I think the parts are all inner changable.I also have a 200x auto. Its a 83 with a 185s engine in it.I got a good deal on the 200x complete roller minus the engine $50.Had A 185s given to me so I put the s engine in the x.The only difference is the you have to use the 200x intake .And fab up a new rear brake pedal setup.Good luck with the build. Also the vin # is on the frame neck left side I believe as you are sitting on it.

sweet thanks for all the info guys , all the parts i need to get it rolling again are on the way , except for that damn swing arm pivot bolt , time to make one i guess , do ANYONE have the dimensions for it ? , im a second year machining student and have access to a full machine shop , im not allowed to do major work but my instructor will let me get away with making a bolt , so if anyone has those dimensions or one to sell let me know ASAP, thanks guys.

You should beable to make one out of a front axle 200x or 250r axle.Thats what im using on one of my 250rs.
