I slapped together a sand blasting booth from scrap wood and duct tape , and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to spray the inside with a light colored bedliner for abrasion resistance... any experts care to chime in?

Ive used that stuff as extra "chip protection" in my wheel wells. So far, it seems to be working good.

I'm just wondering if I would sand blast it right off when I use this thing...

Absolute garbage.

Herculiner is the cheapest you wanna fool with.

Monstaliner and raptor is the cheapest I'd mess with.

Honestly no point in coating the wood, I'd coat it with sheet metal.

Yeah, never thought of that... I have a roll of aluminum I could "coat" it with...

I sprayed the crap out of my jeep with spray can bed liner and im not impressed at all. i did a fair share (but never as much as id like) prep work too. it was a waste of time.
I should have just either went with cheap spray paint or went all out with a proper bed liner or other rust prevention coating.

It doesn't stick any better then spray paint really, just costs more. sand blasters are partially made to strip paint....soooo im guessing it wont work.

x2 ... I used Rustoleum rattle can bedliner on the rear bumper of my van.
- Poor coverage (I used a whole can for 1/2 a bumper)
- dries brittle just like paint so it's easy to chip
- it looks more like a textured paint than a true bedliner
- seemd to stick well but I spent a lot of time prepping

I wish I'd tried a roll on kit but this was only $6.
