Hello, Im new to the whole 3 wheeler world. Ive got a 1984 Yamaha 200, off craigslist. Im not sure if its a YTM 200 or a Tri-Moto 200.. or are they the same thing? LOL I have no clue. But its been 90% restored, only thing it needs is a front fender, front brakes, and a new front tire..

Thank you! I love this thing.. The guy i got it from actually took a real USA flag, and covered the seat with it.. I thought that was pretty cool.. If anyone knows if YTM and Tri-Moto are the same thing please let me know.. Thanks!!

YTM is part of the model name/number and also short for (Y)amaha (T)ri (M)oto so they are basically one in the same

Very nice looking bike. What's the scoop on your plastic? It looks new, just wondering if it's been replaced, restored by polishing or painted. Welcome to the board. I've never ridden one of the 200 Yamaha's but own a 225DX, my 225 may be my favorite.

Im not sure on the plastic, I bought it this way, looks like its been re-painted but the person i got it from did a good job on it. He said he had it sandblasted, and he re-painted the frame, wheels and plastic himself.. He was a mechanic so im sure he knew what he was doing.

I got rid of the flag seat, I bought an original seat with no rips or tears on ebay, I think it looks better.. What you think?
