I agree, that think is awesome, but it is not worth $8000, I would say maybe $4000 at the very best, and even that is a stretch.

The 87 200X on eBay is a member here, a best offer will be close to 8G but you guys have to remember it's worth what a buyer is willing to pay. If you want one any better it will be brand new with upwards of 12G's. It all depends on how much a buyer really wants the bike and how deep his pockets are. Yes these are rare concidering the productiopn numbers of lees than 4000 , the lowest of all the mass production ATC's. IMO price really depends on the condition , originality and paperwork for it's history. I own a mint 87 and it would take big $ before I would ever think of selling it, in my case I do not wish to part with it :p

Even if I got the buy it now on the bike it is not going to change my life at all, so I wouldn't say I am on the get rich quick program. Orangecnty250r, was that your bike that sold for $12,000 on Ebay or did you have a different one?

That is not a shocking price in my eyes either. I am sure he set it a little high.....5-6 thousand may get it. And yes they are rare in that shape. Very....... Great investment...better than .05% in a savings account, crooks on the stock market or a 401 maybe it will be there K.....lol Ain't never going back down in price that is a fact. 8000.00 is small potatoes to a real collector...let alone overseas.
