when i bought my 250r it had a br8eg plug in it. but i think it suppose to have a br8es if im right. or what is the right plug for it. what is the difference between the 2? and what should i gap it at? i live in pa and ride when its cold. so what plug should i run in summer or winter but i dnt ride if there is snow on the ground. i know this is someting simple but i dont know for some reason so i thought i would ask. thanks for any input.

Not sure the difference between the br8eg and br8es plug. Important thing is you are running the proper heat range indicated by the number 8. Don't run anything hotter than an 8... But I run a standard br8es gapped at .018-.020.

Check the NGK site. I believe they have a chart for deciphering sparkplug number/letter designations.

Ok, I misinformed you on the plug gap. Just double checked my Honda service manual and it calls for .028-.031 plug gap. I mixxed up the trike plug gap specs with my sled plug gap specs.

Sorry about the mix up... too many toys!
