gongratz. i got mine for a sweet deal also. 1400 and it had new front and back fenders brand new clucth and basket and crank bearings and seals fresh powder coat frame and pegs and stainless bolt kit. the onlything it needed was a carb rebuild kit witch he put in before he sold me but it was the cheapest one out there so i got a new one and it still didnt run right and it was the head gasket. but congratz man. enjoy it there alot of fun.

Yes, you did just fine....in Ohio thats like NEW condition. A deal on price??? I'd say you and the seller both feel happier from the transaction...so yes it's a deal. Go get'er muddy!

Yeah man just search craigslist or ebay for a while and see whats being offered. I think you'll find they are all in worse shape and they want lots more $$$ for them. Especially in GA, its easy to have a bike torn up and looking like crap quickly in that georgia red clay. May the Gods of 3 wheeler finds shine the same light on us all.

Oh no ... Looks like I caught the ATC fever. Anyone have registration or proof of ownership of theirs?

Around here you could sell it for over $2000. I sold my 85 for $2500 and it wasn't in as good of shape as yours.

One like that would be about $2-$2500 here in MN. I found a 85 250ES BR years back, kept it for about a year while doing some wrenching on it, it wasn't in that great a shape and really needed some work done inside the motor, but i got it for $500, after i put a carb kit in it and got it running it sold for $1500, ripped seat and flat tire on the front and two cracks in the fenders... Yeah they bring big money as long as they run here.

If you're gonna run it, and why wouldn't you, change the plastics. They don't make them anymore and perfect condition fenders are worth mega bucks most places. Maiers are easy to come by and easy to replace. Just hang them on the garage wall for use in parades and at TF.

Great deal, I bought a bone stocker last week in to quiet that good of shape for 1250.00 and thought I got a deal. I had never ridden a stock bike before, only racers.
