200x square tube vs round tube

i thought i knew everything about 200x frames until i found the square tube. numbers scratched off so can't tell the year. which frame is better and why the dif?

the square tube frames are 86-87 200x round tube 83-85

:Dthe 83-85 is easy er to make into a auto-x also to get parts for, the 86-87 were made in much smaller #s so parts are harder to find the frame is stronger the moter is better:rolleyes: but $$ wise a first gen is cheaper to build and ride hard ,then repair ,repete, etc:crazy::cool::beer

like they said, the square is better. square tubin is about 3x stronger than round tubin, dependin on the wall thickness of course
