I am in the process of converting my 250ES into a 300ES... I have managed to swap the output shaft from a 250 into the 300 case with no problems and will drop the engine into the frame this week if everything goes well. I have also gotten 3, 12x7 rims to swap with the original ones. I know I have to space the front rim to center it in the forks and may also space out the rears to be more stable. Now I need to pick some tires that will fit the new rims. I'm looking at the Maxxis Bighorns.... I am up in the Sierra foothills and not too much mud will be encountered, just alot of trail type riding while out exploring for gold~
